Wonderful White Washcloths

I wouldn't have thought five years ago that I would LOVE my white washcloths, but I do. They are definitely a valuable multi-use item. They take the place of several items that we previously would purchase and throw over and over:

• we use them instead of paper towels
• we use them for kitchen towels
• we use them a single use hand towels in the bathroom
• as coasters
• as napkins
• when the stains won't come out or the edges are too frayed, as cleaning towels

We no longer spend any money on paper napkins or paper towels. We had a one time investment of about $10 to get thirty of them at Target and have been using them for about two years. We also use cloth napkins that we already had (for special occasions!) and have not bought paper napkins for five years.
